Jose Cuervo Anniversario 250 Extra Anejo was developed to celebrate the eleventh generation of Cuervo tradition and 250th anniversary of King Carlos of Spain granting Don Jose Antonio de Cuervo his first patch of land to grow agave in 1758. Using 100% blue agave grown on that very land, it was matured using a special double-barrel aging technique: aged for a three years in casks previously used for bourbon, then aged an additional 10 months in sherry casks. The end-product is an ultra-rare and historic gift the Cuervo legacy.
