The giant neon clown at the corner of Vineland and Burbank Boulevard in North Hollywood has been a San Fernando Valley landmark for many years.
The iconic landmark location in the San Fernando Valley. Close to all of the Burbank Studio’s Circus Liquor’s has been the host to many Hollywood Film shoots. We are proud to host our neighboring Studio’s and look forward to many more location shoot opportunities.
The first movie filmed at our store was Blue Thunder filmed in 1981. It was also the place where Alicia Silverstone was ditched, mugged, and forced to lay down on the asphalt in “Clueless” (1995).
Scene’s for the 1980’s popular show Cheers were also film at our store as well as an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog even filmed the Video “Murder Was The Case” in the 1990’s
Most recently in 2008 the movie Alpha Dog with Justin Timberlake was shot at the store as well as the ABC Show “Private Practice” shot a long scene where a woman gives birth to a baby inside the store as its being robbed.
Circus Liquors is available for on-location shoots for day or night productions.
